Tim
I am so stoked to be included with all of these guys. Most of you should know me, but for those of
you who don’t, Ill
give a short introduction. My name is Tim Sedo or in Chinese, 司徒鼎My first ever Chinese teacher gave me that stupid
Chinese name and it has stuck since then.
You can either laugh at me for not changing it or admire me for how
filial I am towards my teacher! I have
been skateboarding for 20 years now…woah! That is a long-ass time. I have also been studying Chinese and Chinese
history for almost 10 years too. I went to university in Taiwan from 1999-2001 and then went to Mainland China
first in 2001 and fell in love with your county. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada, but I
move around a lot between here, Shanghai and now New York (my beautiful lady
lives there) Even though I only get to see them a few times a year, my friends
in China (most of them are on this blog) are some of the closest and best
friends that I have. Because of
skateboarding, some of the first people I met in China were Jeff, Che Lin, Thrasher,
Tim. I still remember skating the busted Anta set up out front of Shanghai
Stadium. Skaters around the world
understand each other and these dudes took me in and showed me a side of China
that I will never forget. Because of
these guys and skateboarding, China
is truly a second home for me. You guys
got something special there. Its hard to
explain….but it is great…… keep skating
