看过之前John Cardiel新闻的朋友们不难感到，John Cardiel不仅是滑板界的传奇，他同时也用自己不服输的意志书写了自己生命的传奇。Thrasher 滑板杂志也在昨天(John Cardiel的生日)发布了John Cardiel 在他19岁时的片段来纪念这位传奇的滑板人为滑板发展做出的突出贡献。当时的John就像是飓风一般，肆虐着法国马赛的滑板场。Thrasher 的主编Jake Phelps也给予了他如此的评价：“ Happy birthday, John. Skateboarding wouldn’t be the same with out you. —Jake Phelps”
